Our Favorite Things About Rio Rancho
Susan and I have been living in Rio Rancho NM for 20 years now. We lived on the west coast, east coast and midwest before moving to Rio Rancho. We took a big risk as we had never even visited here! It was one of the best decisions we ever made because after all this time we still love it here!

Rio Rancho is a city in Sandoval County, New Mexico, located just outside of Albuquerque. The city was founded in the early 1960s and was initially developed as a master-planned community. The first residents of Rio Rancho moved into the city in 1964, and the city was incorporated in 1981. Since then, Rio Rancho has grown rapidly, with a population of more than 90,000 as of 2019. The city is known for its wide range of amenities and community features, including parks, sports facilities, and a community center.
